Summary of Lottery Terms & Conditions
Shoebox Productions is licensed by the Angus Licensing Board to act as a Small Society Lottery Manager (Small Scoiety Lottery No.511).
Shoebox Productions support various different charities with the proceeds from lotteries run on this website. Details of which charity each lottery is supporting will be visible on both the ticket information and the Accumulated Prize Pot section on the homepage.
A minimum of 20% of the ticket price must be allocated by the relevant charity or good cause directly towards its purposes. At present, 32% of the ticket price is allocated by them towards their charitable purpose.
Tickets are sold on a single event basis and by purchasing any ticket(s) you are agreeing to play in a lottery managed by Shoebox Productions. The cost of entering one ticket in a single draw is £2. Ordinarily, all draws are carried out during a LIVE online performance with the Lomond Ceilidh Band. The maximum amount of tickets a Player can have in any one draw is 100 (which would cost £200).
Only tickets for which Shoebox Productions has received payment prior to a draw will be entered into the draw. It is the responsibility of the Player to ensure sufficient funds are available from their nominated payment provider when purchasing their tickets. Shoebox Productions accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage caused if a ticket is not entered into a draw because it had not been paid for.
Ticket sales are non-refundable and shall be used to purchase the relevant numbers of tickets in the upcoming draw.
Winners are selected at random by Shoebox Productions chosen performers (ordinarily the Lomond Ceilidh Band) while LIVE during the chosen event. An announcement of the prize-winner(s) determined by these draws are made on the Lomond Ceilidh Band website. The Accumulated Prize Pot section on the Lomond Ceilidh Band Website’s homepage sets out in advance of the draws the prize(s) to be won, the dates on which the winner(s) shall be announced, and the particular charity responsible for the relevant draw. Only tickets purchased are entered into draws, guaranteeing each of the prizes advertised in advance will be won. As prescribed in the Gambling Act 2005, the holder of an individual winning ticket cannot be awarded a prize greater than 50% of the ticket sales for that particular draw.
